Sidebar Fish and Chips
I must admit I was a little sloppy on this one. I forgot to take the picture until after I had started mucking about with the plate. Not the best photograph, but the fish and chips are wonderful. To be honest, they remind me of the Newman’s fish and chips I used to get in Eugene all the time, same sized portion of the fish etc. It’s a little different to be sure, but I really enjoyed it. The tartar sauce is homemade and the slaw is crisp and tangy. The fries are awesome as usual. The fish is lightly battered and fried and I have to say it’s the best fish and chips I’ve had in Lexington. I recommend you have the tomato bisque soup and the Sam Adams Winter Ale with this meal.
